Behind Aumrie
Our Story
From our family table to yours.
Mindy · Creator of Aumrie
I wanted to get out of the fried chicken and corn rut.
Planning weekly meals for my family wasn’t always easy. I tried pen and paper and online planners, but I kept coming back to the same tried-and-true recipes—and the same meals, week after week.
Online tools made it easier to find something new, but I still wanted a planner that fit the way our family cooks. That’s why I created Aumrie: a place to keep my recipes, find dishes that pair well together, and save weekly plans for those extra-busy weeks.
If fried chicken is on the menu, I want a little inspiration for something besides corn to serve alongside it. And when life gets hectic, I want to bring a saved meal plan into my week without starting from scratch.
Our family also enjoys a potluck dinner once a month. Keeping track of who was bringing what inspired the Special Occasions planner—so we could spend less time organizing and more time enjoying a meal together.
Aumrie grew from a real family need. I hope it makes planning for your table a little easier, too.
