Larder

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 6, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Larder ("Larder", "we", "us"). Larder is the legal business name of the seller of the Larder cookbook and meal-planning service, an independent business based in Idaho, United States. When you subscribe to Larder, you are contracting with Larder as the seller. By creating an account or continuing to use Larder, you agree to these terms.

The service

Larder lets you save recipes, plan meals, build grocery, pantry and shopping lists, plan special occasions, and get AI-assisted pairing and brainstorming suggestions. Paid plans unlock higher limits as described on our pricing page.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse Larder, including by:

AI suggestions

Pairing, brainstorming, import and diet-scan features use AI. You are responsible for what you enter and how you use the results. AI output can be wrong — always check ingredients, allergens and dietary suitability yourself. AI output is not medical or nutritional advice. We may filter or refuse outputs and remove content that breaks these terms.

Your content

You keep ownership of the recipes and plans you add. You give us a limited licence to store and process that content only to provide the service to you. Rights holders can report infringing content to us; repeated infringement may lead to account suspension.

Our intellectual property

Larder owns the service, its software, design, documentation and branding. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it within your plan.

Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, renewal, cancellation and refund terms are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. See also our Refund Policy.

Service level

We work to keep Larder running well, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without implied warranties.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost data or profits), and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law doesn't allow it.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access for a material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You can stop using Larder at any time. When your account ends, your data is deleted.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Idaho. We may update them; continued use after changes means you accept them.
